Privacy and cookie policy

This page explains what information Web Glow Update processes when you use this website, contact us or buy a service, and how optional website tracking is controlled.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

Who is responsible for your information

Web Glow Update is responsible for the information it receives through this website and its business communications. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@webglowupdate.com.

Information you send

If you contact Web Glow Update through WhatsApp, email or another contact method, the information you choose to send may include your name, contact details, store URL and information about your business or project.

The free-audit form on this website does not submit your form entries to a Web Glow Update database. It prepares a WhatsApp message on your device so that you can choose whether to send it.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Stripe. Web Glow Update does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Stripe may process payment, fraud-prevention and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

Essential website data

Hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser details, request logs and security information so the website can be delivered safely and reliably. The website also stores your cookie preference so it can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional tracking.

Optional Web Glow site analytics

If you accept optional cookies, Web Glow Update uses first-party site analytics to understand how the website is being used. This can include a pseudonymous visitor and session identifier, pages viewed, referral source, campaign parameters, device type, browser, operating system, screen or viewport size and general language settings.

These analytics are intended to measure website usage and improve the customer journey. They are not started when you reject optional cookies.

Google Analytics

If you accept optional cookies, this website also uses Google Analytics 4 for Web Glow Update (Measurement ID G-KFZSZ6HHJZ). Google Analytics can record information about visits and website events so Web Glow Update can understand traffic sources, page usage, enquiries and the performance of marketing activity.

Google Analytics is not loaded by this website when optional tracking has been rejected. Google may process browser, device, IP-derived and cookie information under Google's own terms when Analytics is enabled after consent.

Meta Pixel

If you accept optional cookies, this website loads the Meta Pixel for Web Glow Update (Pixel ID 1701825940879818). It can send website events such as a page view to Meta so Web Glow Update can measure advertising and understand whether ads lead to website activity.

Automatic Advanced Matching is currently not enabled by Web Glow Update. Meta may still process device, browser, IP and cookie information as part of normal Pixel operation under Meta's own terms.

Referral and third-party services

The website uses or links to third-party services including Google Analytics, WhatsApp, Stripe, Meta, Trustpilot and GoAffPro. GoAffPro is used for referral or affiliate attribution, and Trustpilot services may be used for review-related features. These providers may process information under their own privacy and cookie policies when their services are used or loaded.

Your cookie choice

On your first visit, the website asks whether you want to accept or reject optional analytics and advertising cookies. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website, requesting an audit or buying a service.

You can change the saved choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer. If you withdraw a previous acceptance, Web Glow Update removes its own optional visitor/session identifiers and attempts to remove Google Analytics and Meta browser identifiers used by this site; the new choice then applies to future page loads.

How information is used

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide audits and services, process purchases, provide support, prevent fraud or misuse, understand website performance and measure advertising where you have allowed optional tracking.

Sharing and processors

Information is shared only where needed to operate the business or provide the service, for example with hosting providers, Google Analytics, Stripe, WhatsApp, Meta, Trustpilot or referral technology providers. These companies may act as independent controllers or processors depending on the service involved.

How long information is kept

Business and customer information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected for, including providing services, dealing with support, keeping appropriate transaction records and meeting legal or accounting requirements. Third-party providers apply their own retention periods to information they control.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent for optional website tracking at any time through Cookie settings.
